Where do I start my photography passion?At that time we don't have camera phones or digital cameras.....I started from here...this camera belonged to my father :). He bought it in 1970s at 90 ringgit which was quite a pocketful of money at that time..I wasn't even born yet(mind you, I'm 80's baby you know hehe!)

This oldschool camera really brings a lot of memories...from my older sister baby photos, till my own photos and we grew up along this camera.I also used this from I was in primary school until i went for boarding school in 1996.The flash still works when I try inserting some batteries in it, but the light wouldn't come out.

Nowadays if I try to persuade my father to use my DSLR, he will say, "it's not my time anymore...I'm getting older and don't have time to use all this new gadget..."...It was quite hard also for him to give me this camera, "why do u want it?"he ask."Just for a keepsake since it was nestling in the old cupboard under some old books and clothes'"I replied.."ok, then keep a good care of it...that camera could cost ten thousand ringgit now you know,"he said with a serious look.Ha ha ha..we smiled.

Ada cerita di sebalik pembelian lens 50mm Nikon ni.Memang dah lama berhajat nak beli tapi masa tu masih nak adapt dgn pengetahuan photography yang makin byk sy belajar, makin byk rupanya saya perlu tahu..jadi sebelum ni, guna kit lens sahaja dah memadai.Dan bila kit lens dan juga telephoto lens tidak mencapai apa yang sy kehendaki dalam potrait photography, maka setelah 2 tahun kami memiliki DSLR, barulah kami membuat keputusan membeli 50mm.Itupun setelah berbincang dgn beberapa rakan yg mempunyai minat yg sama.Bukannya kit lens dan telephoto lens itu tak bagus, tapi tiap2 lens(dan kamera) ada kelebihan dan kekurangannya.
Maka bermulalah pencarian lens 50mm ni.Mulai minggu lepas, kami dah survey di Kluang, harganya lingkungan RM450++.Hampir hendak membeli yang ini kerana fikirkan kedainya agak dekat,tetapi saat2 akhir,kami membuat keputusan utk survey lagi.Di JB, kami ke Plaza Angsana pula.Kedai pertama mengatakan harga RM480 adalah harga paling murah bagi lens ni, tapi kami rasa mcm ditipu pula.Ada kawan2 memberitahu, lens tu berharga bwh dari RM400.Setelah pusing2 di Plaza tu, maka jumpalah juga dgn lens yg dihajati, di kedai kedua dengan harga yang agak memuaskan hati iaitu RM360 sahaja!Pengajaran di sini, kita hendaklah survey beberapa kedai, sebelum membeli sesuatu barang.Agak terkedu juga sebab di kedai ini, harga D90 kurang RM100++ dari yang kami beli di Kluang!(gulp..byk juga boleh dibeli dgn RM100 tu..hadoi...bukan rezeki kamilah tu)

Attending family day at my office, 2 weeks ago.These 2 lovely boy and girl are children of my colleague. The boy's name is Ikmal and I love his long eye lashes!The girl's name, I forgot to ask her mother.Shy at first, then she smiled after a few snaps..oww...so sweet..

Babies..kids...I always love to see baby's or kid's faces.So pure , so innocent, so sweet.Makes me remind of my own childhood years. Nothing to worry, problem free kind of life. As we grew up, so many things and aspects of life need to be embraced.We learned about friendship, love,hate,wisdom,stupidity,responsibility,loyalty,betrayal,trust etcetra. I also learned that in everything that we planned, sometimes it will not turn out like we expected. We climb, we fall, we get up and climb again. It is more shameful if we're not trying at all.Hey, we're not perfect, which makes us human :). As for the birth of my baby Nur Dayana Insyirah, me & my hubby are feeling very blessed (syukur Alhamdulillah...).Hope that the birth of our lovely daughter will tighten our love as it is now,forever.I also hope that we could be a good and wise parent for her, so that she could face this world with bravery (Dayana means "brave") and wisdom.Amin..

Her laughter and smile brighten our days...

Babies' cry makes we feel needed, we're more fragile than babies actually. Babies' smile makes we feel we're so blessed to live in this world.

A child stares can pierce through ur soul.
